Bethesda based Case Design/Remodeling, Inc.? was recognized as a technology leader in the construction industry during Constructech Magazine's 5th Annual Vision Awards ceremony on Wednesday, November 3rd at Harry Caray's Chicago restaurant.
Entrants were asked to describe the challenges they face within their organization and how they used technology in an innovative way to solve the problems and what benefits were received by choosing this technology solution. This year, Case Design/Remodeling, Inc.? was awarded the Bronze award for General Contractor/Residential ($26 million to $100 million) for their excellence in technology.
They were selected among hundreds of entrants for their web-based software system Red House, which is named after their company logo.
The Red House system gathers critical client data and marketing demographics, schedules sales consultants to define and sell projects and schedules mechanics to do the actual work.
The system also creates invoices and aids in tracking the jobs as they progress.
Red House is an Internet based system that can be accessed by all approved users anywhere they have an Internet connection. The centralized nature of the system provides for better standardization, resulting in a consistent remodeling experience and creating more satisfied clients.Centralization has given Case Design/Remodeling, Inc.? the ability to analyze their data in a way that was not possible before.

Family of Texas Deathrow Inmate, Pedro S. Sosa, Due to be Executed on October 25th, 2005, Has Launched a Website Contesting His Death Sentence
(ContentDesk) October 12, 2005 -- The family of Mr. Pedro Sosa, State of Texas, death row inmate #000778, says that the state has taken his children, family, and now they want to take his life on October 25th, 2005 at 6:00 pm.Earlier execution dates were set in 1987, 1993, and 1999, but each time Pedro S. Sosa was successful in obtaining a stay of execution. At the moment, Pedro Sosa, his attorney, Cynthia Orr, and his family await a Federal Supreme Courtstay of execution. After this, they are all hoping for a new trial, that without a doubt will prove his innocence.
This is due to new evidence that has emerged and a recent sworn confession. All former appeals for a new hearing were all denied by the State of Texas.The family had tried various media channels, in order that they may raise public awareness regarding Mr. Sosa's execution, but were somewhat unsuccessful.
